Mr. M. Cervenka
Dipl.-Ing. Michal ?ervenka graduated from Metallurgical Faculty Technical University in Kosice (Slovakia) on Iron and Steel Metallurgy and Foundry department, in 2008. Since 2008 he works for USSK as a Researcher on R&D, first on Steelmaking and Casting department (2008–2012) and since the 2012 on Primary Process Technology department. He focused on steelmaking processes. In research projects he covers mainly the development of new non vacuum steel grade and optimizes production processes of existing steel grades in primary and secondary metallurgy at the steel mill. He participated in the development of various micro alloyed structural grades. It also deals with upgrading existing technological process of the operation to ensure production of more demanding grades on the existing technological equipment. It also provides a technological support for the operation during the production of more demanding grades if the assistance is necessary. It is also dedicated to testing of new materials like new slag mixture.
